Brian Hennessy and several others were riding in a truck on Bougainville Island, Papua New Guinea, in 1971, when they heard the sound. Hennessy looked up and saw a large flying creature with no sign of feathers. One of the strange aspects was a "longish narrow tail." The head was "disproportionately large compared to the body." Could this man have a mental health condition? Not likely, as he works at a medical university as a psychologist.
